CVAN South East Programme 2008 - onwards

The current CVAN South East programme has the following objectives

  • To support artistic practice
  • To raise the profile of the region
  • To share expertise and capacity
  • To increase and deepen audience engagement

In deciding which projects to undertake in order to achieve these aims, the Steering Group  want to ensure that the programme supports collaboration across the region in the belief that working together will strengthen the sector and provide better services and opportunities for all.

A strong, active, visual arts network for the region aspires to be ‘greater than the sum of its parts’ and adds value to the work of its individual members. Collaboration is, therefore, at the heart of everything that we do.

The current CVAN South East programme is focused upon three interlinked stands of activity:

  • Research and Critical Debate
  • Marketing and Audience Development
  • Delivering a region-wide event for 2012
