Family Arts Campaign Leadership Symposium

The Family Arts Campaign is delighted to announce their first ever national Family Arts Leadership Symposium, inviting both established and emerging cultural leaders to engage in some of the big issues affecting our work and to shape the future landscape for family arts.
The programme will include keynote speakers in the field of Leadership along with cultural leaders in Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area who will be discussing leading family-friendly organisational cultures.
Petia Tzanova - Clore Leadership Programme, will discuss the future of cultural leadership and building resilience in a changing cultural landscape.
Samantha Cairns - Co-Director, Cultural Learning Alliance, will discuss the implications of policy and practice in the cultural learning agenda on family engagement.
Plus research on organisational leadership and decision-making.
The day will be chaired by Annabel Turpin, Chief Executive of ARC Stockton Arts Centre.
Directors in conversation:
We will hear from cultural leaders in Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area who will be discussing leading family-friendly organisational cultures. Confirmed speakers in our 'Directors in Conversation' session include John Roles, Head of Museums & Galleries at Leeds City Council, Helen Ball, Chief Executive of The Civic Barnsley, Jacqui Cameron, Education Director for Opera North, and Leanne Kirkham, Director of Learning for Northern Ballet.
The day will also include interactive sessions discussing key strategic areas of arts and cultural leadership.
