Here's the latest update from Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy on their March offers; remember that CVAN members receive discounted rates through our partnership.

This month we feature a Coaching and Action Learning Programme and more Fundraising training.

Arts Fundraising Fellows

Recruitment is now underway for 25 Arts Fundraising Fellows who will be working with Host Organisations in five English regions during 2015/16. Host Organisations will be announced at the end of February. The deadline for applications is Friday 27 March – find out more at

Coaching and Action Learning

The Coaching and Action Learning programme aims to develop confident, resilient arts leaders and peer-to-peer leadership communities, who can share working practices and learn from each other. National Summer School for Arts Fundraising & Leadership

Booking is now open for the second National Summer School for Arts Fundraising & Leadership, taking place in Leeds from 16-21 August. Aimed at emerging cultural leaders and entrepreneurs, it will be led by renowned academics and arts sector professionals. Find out more and book online at

Fundraising training courses

The final set of one-day fundraising training courses this season includes:

Strategic leadership in fundraising and income generation

Northern Ballet, Leeds, Wednesday 18 March, 11am-5pm

Michelle Wright will address how to mobilise resources, develop stakeholder and staff relationships, and bring the whole organisation and its supporters to new ways of thinking.

Developing a digital fundraising strategy for your organisation

Birmingham Rep, Thursday 19 March, 11am-5pm

Sarah Gee offers pragmatic advice on how best to tackle digital fundraising, and how to integrate it into your overall strategy.

Winning major grants from trusts and statutory bodies

Northern Stage, Newcastle upon Tyne, Wednesday 25 March, 11am-5pm

Patricia Castanha will guide you through this complex landscape, helping you to determine strategies and manage high-quality relationships that can lead to long-term institutional support.
