Job opportunity: Visitor Experience Assistant at The National Centre for Craft & Design (Deadline 19/10/18)

The overall purpose of the role is to provide the first line of customer service to all visitors to the National Centre for Craft & Design (NCCD). This includes enabling a positive experience and ensuring excellent and efficient customer service, alongside identifying opportunities to increase visitor frequency through providing knowledgeable information on all exhibitions and the wider programme and services. 

Support the programme team during events through installation and de-installation of exhibitions, to include gallery and display furniture preparation, safety and condition checks, and wrapping and packing of artworks, and by researching and developing upcoming exhibitions. 

To be the first point of contact for all visitor-related enquiries and support the delivery of high quality customer service and customer satisfaction at NCCD.

The National Centre for Craft and Design operates seven days a week.
