The Clore Visual Artist Fellowship is for professional artists in the UK who wish to develop as leaders in the cultural sector. The deadline for applications is 29 November 2018.
Applications are now open for the 2019/20 Clore Visual Artist Fellowship, which for the third year is supported by a-n.
Open to professional visual artists in the UK who are looking to develop as leaders in the cultural sector, the Fellowship is for artists working within fine art, applied art, live arts and moving image, sound and text-based practices, digital and animation, participatory, public and community arts.
The Clore Fellowship is a tailored programme of leadership development that aims to enrich and transform cultural practice and engagement through developing the individuals’ leadership capacity.
The self-guided fellowship will include guest speakers, practical workshops, mentoring and coaching and also a secondment. The programme runs from September 2019 to July 2020.
The annual Clore Leadership programme awards places to around 25 individuals from a range of specialisms across the cultural sector. For 2019/20 there are also fellowships funded by Arts Council England (Open Fellowship), Art Fund (Curator Fellowship), and the Wellcome Trust (Wellcome Fellowship).
