Harris Museum & Art Gallery, Preston are currently recruiting a Contemporary Art Curator and a Digital Engagement Officer.

Digital Engagement Officer (Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2022)

Harris Museum & Art Gallery are looking for a highly skilled, customer-focused digital communications specialist to enable successful community-led work and marketing activity by making digital engagement a thread that runs through all that they do. Confident with a wide range of people, you will be equally able to encourage an elderly resident to record their memories of the Harris, give a volunteer confidence to photograph and blog about an object in the collections; and develop a young person’s skills so they can put together professional tweets or run a workshop with families creating their own digital interpretation of the collections.

This role will support the Harris in delivering its commitment to reaching a wider range of people and sharing their collections and activities more widely through digital means under the Re-Imagining the Harris project. Deadline: Noon, Monday 16 April 2018.

Harris Museum & Art Gallery are looking for a well-connected curator to champion, commission and exhibit contemporary art, inspiring and challenging their diverse visitors and communities.
