Freelance Heritage Researchers wanted for 'Pioneering Places in Thanet' a child-led regeneration project in Ramsgate.
- Could you work for a 6 year old boss?
- Do you have a smiley face?
- Would you like to come and help us make Ramsgate a better place to live and play in?
- Can you help us use our imaginations?
- Are you a bit silly?
If your answer is yes to all of these things, Turner Contemporary needs you. Turner Contemporary is seeking inspiring heritage researchers to help enable primary school aged children to do a really extraordinary project that has never been done before!
This unique and innovative project will enable 60 primary school children from 2 Ramsgate schools to inspire the whole town community to engage with art. The children will be exploring the heritage associated with the Royal Harbour and finding out what Ramsgate means to them and to its wider residents, connecting communities through the stories they uncover.
This application process has been designed by TC but with advice and suggestions from children. Gallery staff will shortlist the candidates. The children will conduct the interviews and ultimately decide who they want to work with.
