The Edge, at the University of Bath, is seeking to appoint a dynamic individual with the skills and experience to lead, manage and deliver a wide range of projects, activities and resources, with the overall ambition to engage students with its programme and ethos.

The Edge's focus is on participatory programmes and belief that everyone can be creative and contribute. The state-of-the-art Edge building offers, theatres and studios for students to utilise, plus a lively café/bar. More broadly The Edge is an arts and creativity hub informed by the context and research of the University of Bath. Its year-round programme of exhibitions, presentations, talks, classes, and family and community events, produce a destination that promotes the art in science and the science in art.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the education and arts sector and a proven record of project and event coordination. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills are also a requirement as the University Arts Development Manager is the main point of contact between The Edge, the Students' Union and University population. You will work on developing and maintaining these relationships with an aim of raising the profile of arts on campus, overseeing key activities including the Edge Arts Community and annual arts gala Platform.

This position is for full time maternity cover for an 8 month period. We are ideally looking for someone to commence employment as soon as possible following interview to allow for a handover/transition period.
