Open call for the In Between Gallery at Fabrica (deadline 31/10/18)

Open call for artists working in photographic media to exhibit their work in the In Between Gallery, a temporary exhibition platform for Fabrica’s picture window in central Brighton.

For this exciting new initiative, Fabrica is partnering with Spectrum Photographic and Brighton Photo Fringe to present excellent photographic work by UK-based artists who consider themselves to be early to mid-career.

There is no theme to address but artists are asked to submit work that will function well within the context of a large format print set within the window frame. (Measurements are approximately: 270cm x 225.5cm.)

The image would be exhibited from early December 2018 – early March 2019. The selected artist will be invited to give a talk on Monday 7 January as part of Brighton Photo Fringe’s First Monday series.

Information about the selected artist and the image will be featured on the Fabrica website and via promotional materials produced by Fabrica, Brighton Photo Fringe and Spectrum for the duration of the exhibition.

Fabrica will pay a small exhibition fee of £150 to the selected artist.

Deadline: 12 noon on Tuesday 31 October.

For more information on how to apply visit the Fabrica site.
