Turning Point North East is offering three bursaries of up to £3,000 to support the development of critical dialogue in the North East.

Turning Point North East is a consortium of artists, arts professionals and arts organisations in the North East Region dedicated to working together to find new ways to strengthen the visual arts, and to support the arts more broadly.

This pilot bursary programme has been developed by Turning Point North East as a way of stimulating a rich ecology of critical dialogue and discursive practice, and exploring its value to artists and audiences in the region.

We invite proposals from visual artists and artistic initiatives, for programmes of work that will help connect people, foster critical dialogue and generate new writing through various types of media.
